"The Goal is Not For the Photographer to Change the Subjects But For the Subjects to Change the Photographer"

One day Jess and I both had work off so we decided to take some creative shots. She was a great model for me! A few days later I was able to take Erin Johnson and Kirk Aho's pictures! They were a great couple to practice on! I was able to capture some very natural shots of them together!

Just a few Macro shots I've taken from time to time. They tend to make me find the beauty in even the smallest of objects with the details captured.

Visiting my aunt Ellen and uncle Pete Torola at their "Casita" in Calumet. There were so many beautiful flowers!

"Practice as if you are the worst. Perform as if you are the best."

I had the opportunity to practice taking pictures of one of my best friends (and roommates!) Shannon Pietila. We drove up to Eagle River and Eagle Harbor and then back down near the Houghton Bridge. She was very cooperative in these pictures! Next I was able to practice taking pictures of Greta Sturos and Dave Helminen. We drove to a few different places including Buckies. My main idea in pictures is to capture people as they are. I don't like too much posing because it starts to make people look akward. I like to keep it fun and let them do their own thing!
